Jamie Redknapp tells Leeds United they 'need more' after 0-0 draw vs Brentford

Jamie Redknapp has claimed that Leeds United's fans "want more" from their side after they drew 0-0 with Brentford on Sunday afternoon.

Jesse Marsch's team kept their fourth clean sheet of the Premier League season, but failed to find a way past a stubborn Brentford defence at Elland Road. Willy Gnonto arguably had the best chance of the game in the second-half as his fierce drive was met with a fine save from David Raya.

Although it was a spirited performance the Whites, there was a sense of frustration as the full-time whistle blew. Leeds have now won just twice in their last 16 league games this term and Redknapp has admitted that they need to find a way to start getting results with their current performance levels.

When asked which manager would be happier with the result, Redknapp told Sky Sports: "I would have to say Thomas Frank with the great run that they’re on - eight unbeaten. The pressure wasn’t really on them to a great extent.

"I think from Jesse Marsch’s point of view, one win at home since August, it’s not a great run. They’re lacking confidence and a little bit of quality as well.

"There was more pressure on Leeds to get a point, but the flipside of it they’ll say that the teams at the bottom didn’t win, the bottom three, so it’s a point gained on two of the bottom three. They need more and the home fans want more as well."
