Jamie Redknapp has revealed he was in disbelief when he watched his dad attempting to set him up with Emily Atack.
The sports pundit told how he was shocked when father Harry, who was recently crowned King of the Jungle, tried to play matchmaker with Inbetweeners star Atack.
He told Heat magazine: “I've got to be honest with you, that was surreal.”
Redknapp also told how Atack is a “sweet girl” but didn’t appear to suggest he is open to romance.
He added: “She is a really sweet girl, but watching my dad telling her I'm single and stuff was really weird. I think he just forgot the cameras were on him, which I'm sure everyone does after a while.”
During her time in the jungle, Atack made multiple plays for Jamie, hinting he should “call her."
However, Jamie later responded to romance rumours after he was grilled on what he thinks is more likely: Liverpool winning the Champions League or him taking Atack on a date.
“What’s more likely did you say? Ah Deano come on. Leave it out,” he told Dean Saunders on talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil Breakfast show.
“Listen, she’s a very nice girl isn’t she. Let’s leave it at that.”
Harry later joked that his son wouldn’t be able to “pull” Atack after he saw her “scrubbed up” for the first time since leaving the jungle.
Atack later apologised for “ruining Jamie’s life”, joking that she isn’t dating him “yet.”
