Jamie Oliver's egg fried rice recipe brutally mocked as people say it's 'all wrong'

Jamie Oliver has been brutally criticised by a Malaysian comedian for his egg fried rice recipe, who has said it is "all wrong".

Nigel Ng, who goes by the name of Uncle Roger on his Youtube channel, shot to fame with another of his fried rice recipes reactions.

But when he saw Jamie's classic Asian egg fried rice recipe, made another video pointing out every single discrepancy from start to finish.

He starts off by criticising Jamie for using a frying pan instead of a wok which is typically used to make the Asian delicacy.

He commented: "Jamie, where's your wok?

"You have 25 cook books but you can't afford a wok?

"Uncle Roger will send you one wok for free, Jamie no problem."

Jamie started by slicing his spring onions, before he lined his frying pan with a tablespoon of olive oil, which according to Nigel is a massive no-no as: "Olive oil is not suitable for Asian dishes."

The spring onions are first to hit the pan which confused him as "they should be used as a garnish, not as a base to the dish" as they wilt quickly.

Instead the first ingredient you should add to your wok is garlic.

Jamie then grabs a packet of pre-cooked rice which annoys Nigel no end as authentic egg fried rice is cooked entirely from scratch.

But Jamie did get one thing right, you should chill your rice.

Once the rice has been added to the frying pan Jamie said you should hear it "sizzling".

Nigel said: "You hear sizzling? I hear my ancestors crying."

The next step in Jamie's recipe is to add chilli jam, to not only give it a bit of heat but sweetness too.

"No no no no no - putting jam in rice? This is disgusting.

"Is this how you trick white people to eating chilli?

"You give them fresh chilli they go no no no I don't like chilli, give them chilli jam and they go oooh.

"What are you going to put in there next - peanut butter?"

The final ingredient left to add was tofu which Jamie ripped up and placed straight into the pan, but he should have cut it into cubes instead "not tear it like paper".

Since being posted, the YouTube video has received almost six million views, and after he shared to Twitter it received 1,600 likes.
