Jamie Oliver fans were left hugely impressed by the chef's cheap and simple air fryer recipe, with some even branding the meal 'better than a takeaway'.
On Monday's episode of his Channel 4 show 'Jamie's £1 Wonders', the chef detailed some recipes viewers can whip up for their family for under £1. During the show, Jamie put together a number of quick and tasty looking meals, including meatball kebabs and crispy pork noodles.
And viewers were wowed by one recipe in particular. Fellow chef, Karan Gokani, joined Jamie in the kitchen to make his cauliflower curry and coconut & onion roti, with the meal going down a treat.
Costing just 84p per portion to make - just £3.36 for a family of four - the tasty option is made in the air fryer, making it even easier and more cost effective, reports the ECHO.
The chef explained the dish as: "A humble vegetable turned into something so different. Just elevated and naturally budget friendly".
He added: You've got a dish that you can make at home in less than half an hour at less than a quid a portion that's better than any takeaway you're going to get at a fraction of the price when you're feeding a whole family."
And fans of the show were quick to share their thoughts, with many left wowed by the simple and delicious looking dish.
Taking to Twitter, one said: "I will definitely be trying this!"
A second posted "We are definitely trying this one", with a third writing "Looks fab great meals thanks Jamie always so kind caring stay safe take care xx".
