Jamie O'Hara on Rangers 'outrageous' Champions League campaign as shock jock tells them and Celtic to head south

Jamie O'Hara wants the Scottish Premiership's big two to make the move south of the border - but Rangers' European dismay is in the motor mouth pundit's sights.

The former Tottenham midfielder was reflecting on the seasons coming to a close across both borders. Much is still to be decided in each league, although Man City are hot favourites to become Premier League champions again and Ange Postecoglou's Celtic have claimed the Premiership crown.

In reviewing the highs and lows of the term, Rangers' Champions League campaign was brought into view. The club lost all their games in Group A and came out with a goal difference that made them the 'worst-ever' side to compete in that stage of the competition after defeats like a 7-1 hammering by Liverpool and 4-0 loss to Ajax. Serie A champions Napoli were the other side to put them to the sword.. And it wasn't lost on O'Hara as he looked back on the season, telling Grosvenor Sport: "The Rangers one is pathetic, they were bad in the Champions League. 7-1, didn't they get the record for worst conceded goals (goal difference)? That was pretty outrageous."

Despite his Rangers pop, the shock jock pundit would love to see them and Celtic in England's top flight, as he think they are the only thing missing from it. He added: "I would love to have Celtic and Rangers in the Premier League.

"They are massive football clubs, great stadiums, fans. It would be electric and with the finances, they would have more money, they are massive clubs, probably bigger than a lot of the teams in there.

"If one day you can get them in, it would be great. The Premier League has gone to another level, we are leaving the world behind."
