Jamie McGrath is the subject of interest from Hibs - but they face a fight to land the midfielder according to a report.
The 26-year-old is currently on loan at Dundee United for the season and has really found his form at the right time under Jim Goodwin as he bids to shoot the Tannadice men to Premiership safety. The Tangerines have won three games on the spin to move into tenth spot ahead of the league split kicking off next week.
McGrath has been instrumental in that run of form finding the net in three consecutive games to take his tally for the season to seven - with six of those coming in the league. The Republic of Ireland cap joined Wigan Athletic from St Mirren back in January 2022 and new boss Shaun Maloney - who had a stint in charge at Easter Road - wants to convince him to stay with the Latics for next season.

They will be playing English League One football next term after suffering relegation from the English Championship yesterday. Alan Nixon from The Sun reports in his 'Boss of Goss' column that Dundee United want to keep him in Scotland with Premiership rivals Hibs also keen.
Celtic legend Scott Brown - who has enjoyed an excellent 12 months as boss at Fleetwood Town - is also believed to be interested in doing a deal but Maloney is determined to keep McGrath as he bids to put a squad together to immeditaly return to England's second tier.
McGrath will have a big say in how the campaign ends for Dundee United this term with five games of the season to be played. They hold a four point cushion over bottom club Ross County and are level with Kilmarnock with the fight to avoid relegation or the play-off place looking set to go to the wire.
St Johnstone are just two points ahead of the pair with Motherwell six clear of United. Next up for Goodwin and Co is a huge game at McDiarmid Park. Victory would see them leapfrog the Saints and drag them right into the mixer at the bottom of the table.
