Jamie Lynn Spears has addressed her relationship with her once-estranged sister Britney Spears.
Back in June, the Toxic hitmaker seemingly confirmed that she had reconciled with her younger sister two years after the end of her conservatorship.
At the time, the 41-year-old revealed on Instagram that she had reunited with Jamie Lynn on the set of an unknown project and said it was “nice to visit family”.
She penned: “It was nice to visit my sister on set last week!!! I’ve missed you guys so much!!! Loyal girls stay home but it’s so nice to visit family.”
However in a new interview, the Zoey 102 star, who has two daughters: Maddie and Ivey, wouldn’t confirm whether her older sister actually visited her on set for fear of “upsetting” Britney.
Speaking to Variety, the 32-year-old seemingly tried to dodge questions about their relationship, and simply responded: “I have nothing but absolute love for every single one of my family members.
“If I learned anything from last year, being so open and feeling like I had to defend myself at times, I don’t feel like there’s anything else that I need to say.
“I just have to leave it where it is because those conversations are meant to be personal. All I can focus on now is my girls, my husband and the work that I’m doing.”
In light of her remarks, a source told the outlet that the two are not yet on good terms.
The siblings have had a complicated relationship over the last decade with Britney previously claiming that her sister had a part to play in her conservatorship which controlled most aspects of her life for almost 13 years.
It was finally terminated in 2021 and Britney then launched multiple attacks on family members including sister Jamie Lynne, mother Lynne and her dad Jamie.
Consequently, none of her relatives were invited to her wedding to Sam Asghari in 2022.
