Jamie Lomas sought protection from Amir Khan after Asan N'Jie showdown.
The actor, 44, rubbed shoulders with his boxer friend, 32, just a day after he came to blows with the sacked Emmerdale star, 25.
Jamie and Amir built an unbreakable bond when they starred on I'm A Celebrity... Get me Out Of Here together two years ago in 2017.
In the fierce snap, Amir clenched his fist while he posed for a close selfie with his I'm A Celeb pal Jamie.
He wrote in the caption: "And then you bump into the main man @amirkingkhan on the same day!"
Amir responded underneath the post: "Lovely seeing you tho. 100%."
Swarms of fans joked Jamie should hire Amir as his new bodyguard following his row with Asan on Monday night.
"Should recruit him as your new bodyguard incase you run into one of Emmerdale brutes again," one fan wrote, leading the troops.
"Oh the business becomes serious now. No more messing with you now, not that you need back up anyway..."
"Shoulda took him with ya last night and let him smack that tool one."
The actor had brushed off the drama when he enjoyed the evening out with his family.
Jamie and Asan had a furious showdown when they clashed at the TV Choice Awards held at the five-star Park Lane Hotel, in London on Monday.
Asan could be heard shouting: "Do you think you are a f**king big man, I’m going to f***ing kill you... I’m going to f***ing knife you."
Security swooped down on the scene and they were forced to pull the pair apart twice.
Stars watched on in fear as war broke out between the soap stars at around 11pm.
Malique Thompson-Dwyer also intervened to take his Hollyoaks co-star Jamie out of the fight as he claimed it "wasn't that kind of party".
Malique could also be heard shouting: "Yo, this isn't that kinda party bro. This isn't that kinda party man."
He later recalled to us he had intervened to take Jamie out of the dramatic situation.
Malique told The Mirror: "I told him to relax. I told him, 'This isn't that kinda party. It's the TV Choice Awards'."
Asan, who had been nominated for Best Newcomer at the awards ceremony, was axed from Emmerdale following the expletive-laden clash.
