Jamie Lee Curtis has opened up about having "never felt more free" than on the set of her new film, in which she was able to "release" her stomach after years of holding it in.
The actor, 63, is among the cast of Everything Everywhere All At Once - appearing alongside its lead Michelle Yeoh, 59, who plays a woman that must save multiple universes.
The science-fiction project - directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, known as Daniels - has yet to be given a UK release date, but will be out later this month in the US.
And ahead of its premiere at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival today, Jamie has revealed that she decided to let it all out for her role as tax auditor Deirdre Beaubeirdra.
She shared a photo taken on the set, in which she's seen wearing a polo neck jumper which showcases her tummy.
The photo was posted on Instagram yesterday, with Jamie writing alongside it: "WELL ... here we GO! Two years ago we made this movie right up until the day the world shut down."
"We just finished in time. It's a magical mystery tour of a movie and I'm so excited to see it tomorrow at its premiere opening the @sxsw festival," she continued in the post.
Jamie - who is the daughter of the late actors Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh - said she was "proud" to introduce fans to her character, who is the "nemesis and bae" of the lead.
She continued the post by stating that there is an industry built on "hiding things" in modern society, with her giving examples such as concealers, fillers and hair products.
The actor said: "Everything to conceal the reality of who we are." She however added: "My instruction to everybody [for this film] was: I want there to be no concealing of anything."
Recalling her experience, she said: "I've been sucking my stomach in since I was 11, when you start being conscious of boys and bodies, and the jeans are super tight."
She continued in the recent post: "I very specifically decided to relinquish and release every muscle I had that I used to clench to hide the reality. That was my goal."
The star added: "I have never felt more free creatively and physically." She concluded by expressing excitement over fans seeing the "brilliance" of Yeoh and the rest of the cast.

Her admission on social media comes after co-director Kwan spoke about her physical appearance in the film during an interview with Entertainment Weekly recently.
He commented: "Everyone assumes that her belly in the movie is a prosthetic, but it's actually her real belly." Kwan added that Curtis was "grateful" to be able to "just let it out."
