Jamie Lee Curtis has shared her delight over her former co-star Lindsay Lohan welcoming her first child with Bader Shammas.
The Oscar winner, 64, shared her congratulations on social media after news broke that the 37-year-old had given birth to a little boy.
The Hollywood star marked the milestone by sharing a throwback photo of them from yesteryear alongside another of them in character on the set of Freaky Friday.
Writing alongside the snaps, Curtis penned: “MAGIC MONDAY! My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother.
“Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai! @lindsaylohan [sic].”
The Everything Everywhere All At Once star’s tribute was met with a great reaction as her followers shared their love for the duo in the comment section.
One Instagram follower wrote: “Aww…Congratulations ‘movie grandma’. How lucky is Lindsay to have you in her life. I’ve always adored Linds [sic].”
“Congratulations Lindsay now you and Jamie hurry up made a new Freaky Friday,” another penned.
A third added: “Awe! Congratulations to the new family! What a wonderful blessing for her [sic].”
Previously Lohan revealed that her Freaky Friday on-screen mother was among those who have given her advice.
“I spoke to Jamie Lee Curtis recently and she was like, ‘You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine’,” she told Allure last month.
On Monday, the Mean Girls star and her financier husband were said to be “over the moon in love” with their new arrival.
Lohan announced she was expecting her first child in March by posting a photo on her Instagram of a baby grow with “coming soon” written across the item.
She and Shammas married in April 2022 and fell pregnant later that year.
A spokesperson said: “Lindsay Lohan and her financier husband, Bader Shammas, welcomed a beautiful, healthy son named Luai. The family is over the moon in love.”
The child was reportedly born in Dubai, with Lohan previously saying the city “gives me that space to have my own vision of what I need to do next”.
