Hollywood star Jamie Lee Curtis has shared a delightful video of herself meeting Dubliners on the street over the weekend, ahead of the release of the finale of the Halloween movie series.
The actress, who told of her love of Irish people on Friday's Late Late Show, posted clips on her Instagram of her meeting passers by, ahead of the Irish release of her latest movie Halloween Ends, which is in cinemas on October 14.
In one hilarious video, Jamie Lee Curtis meets a Dublin woman named Margaret. She said: “I’m with my new friend Margaret McNamara, who just said to me…” with Margaret finishing off the sentence, adding: “Halloween , wonderful.”

Dubliner Margaret was also pleased to meet the Hollywood actress, remarking: "Great to meet you. You said wonderful stuff last night [on the Late Late Show]."
People were quick to comment below the hilarious video, with Bray broadcaster Laura Whitmore describing the exchange as "so Irish" alongside a laughing emoji. Another person commented: “Do you guys notice how she isn't mobbed by lrish people in the streets. We give celebs space and let them walk around and enjoy their day in Dublin…”
Another added: “Margaret’s accent is the bee's knees.” A third said: "Not everyday you meet Laurie Strode in the flesh. Jamie Lee Curtis is a gem."
Halloween Ends is out in Irish cinemas on October 14.
