Jamie Laing reveals gruesome 'battered feet' after ultra marathon challenge raises over £2.2M for Comic Relief

Jamie Laing has revealed the toll his ultramarathon Comic Relief challenge took on his body, sharing a photo of his “swollen” and “battered” feet.

The former Made in Chelsea star, 36, completed the grueling 150-plus mile run on Friday evening, crossing the finish line in Salford after setting off from London’s Broadcasting House last Monday morning.

Cheered on by supporters, Laing finished his Ultra Marathon Man challenge in the northern city where Red Nose Day is being filmed. His wife, reality star Sophie Habboo, was there to congratulate him with a hug at the finish line.

On his final day, radio presenter Greg James ran alongside him in a wedding dress after BBC Radio 1 listeners helped push Laing’s fundraising total past the £500,000 mark.

The challenge has since raised an incredible £2,260,547, as announced on Monday’s Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Greg James.

Days after completing the challenge, Laing shared a photo of his feet on Instagram, joking that they looked like “hobbit feet.”

“My feet are so swollen!!!” he wrote on his Instagram Story on Monday. “They're battered and my toenail is about to fall off.

“They look a little bit like a hobbit feet. One thing’s for sure, they aren’t looking pretty.”

Later speaking on Monday’s Breakfast Show with Greg James, he added: “Everyone told me it was going to be hard, it was going to be tough on my body… nobody warned me that my feet would become hobbit feet.

“I’m worried they’re never going to go back to normal. They are so swollen. I can’t wear any shoes apart from flip-flops.”

Laing previously said he was dedicating the challenge to those who might be suffering, especially from their mental health, referencing his own challenges dealing with “crippling anxiety” in his 20s.

Hosting Red Nose Day, which raises vital funds for causes across the UK, were presenters Davina McCall, Joel Dommett, Alison Hammond, Rylan Clark, Jonathan Ross, and Alesha Dixon.

The night of comedy included sketches from some of the biggest shows on the BBC including Strictly Come Dancing, Gladiators and Beyond Paradise.
