Jamie Dornan surprises Kelly Clarkson with Irish snack

Jamie Dornan has surprised Kelly Clarkson with some Irish dulse during a TV interview.

Appearing on The Kelly Clarkson show on Friday, the Holywood man had dulse brought out as he chatted to the host about the filming of The Tourist and how he's okay with his beard going grey.

Kelly said: "The last time you were here I gave you an early birthday gift, a Whataburger."

Jamie replied: "I loved it... I did love it, I've planned something for you today."

The presenter added: "What did you bring me?"

The actor said: "So where I come from, specifically in Northern Ireland, we used to have this stuff... it's basically like dried out seaweed, but it's not like those thin seaweeds you get in posh delis and stuff, it's feels like someone has just picked up some seaweed, shaken it off and put it in a bag.

"But it's called dulse."

Kelly said: "I like seaweed, but what you have described, it doesn't sound great."

The actor said: "It's organic... put it that way. Here we go..."

Jamie and Kelly were then both given a pot of dulse, with the host saying: "I've had this. I like this, you just made this sound horrible. This is the perfect amount of salty..."

Dornan added: "I grew up having the sort of gnarlier version of this I would say... This has gone through a bit of work I think, to get this polished."
