The Holywood man said: "Mick, Jamie Dornan here, just want to wish you all the best for your fight mate, world title fight, 12th March. Sorry I can't be there in person, I'll make it to one of your fights one of these days, don't worry.

"Yes, I'll be watching, we all will, we are proud of you, whatever happens - and take it home."

Conlan also had words of support from a number of others, including UFC fighter Darren Till who said: "Big Mick Conlan, what's happening brother? I just wanted to wish you all the luck in your upcoming fight. I know you trained hard.

"You know I am a big fan of you, I have been for many years, and I hope you do the business, brother. Good luck, mate."
