Former England defender Jamie Carragher hit out at Tottenham forward Richarlison after the Brazilian's showboating on Saturday.
Spurs survived some nervy moments at the City Ground to come out on top, with two goals from Harry Kane settling the tie. England star Kane admitted his team "got away with it" after the win, having himself seen a penalty saved by Dean Henderson.
Summer signing Richarlison was on the pitch for the second of Kane's goals, having replaced Son Heung-min for the final 15 minutes. However, when the £60m man was felled by Brennan Johnson in the closing stages after attempting some keepy-uppies in the Forest half, Sky Sports pundit Carragher had little sympathy.
"It's not right, you can't just go and boot people," Carragher said on commentary. "You can't do that, but what's he doing?"
'He just winds people up that lad. He winds me up. What do you expect Johnson to do? You're not condoning that but...'
Carragher admitted Richarlison had helped take the game away from Nottingham Forest before the incident. And, after the game, the pair made up on the pitch as the Brazil forward greeted the punditry team.

"It doesn’t matter what we all think of the #Richarlison showboating, it’s what the opposition think," Carragher explained on Twitter. They thought it was taking the p**s and tried to take him out.
"You can’t condone that but the worst that happens is a red card, for Spurs it’s a bad injury. That’s why it’s daft."
Forest manager Steve Cooper wasn't happy with the former Everton man's antics either. "I wouldn’t want my players to do that, what Richarlison did,” he said after the defeat.
“But if that’s accepted at Spurs then that’s nothing to do with me. But it wouldn’t be accepted here, that’s for sure.”
Spurs boss Antonio Conte took a far more sympathetic view, though. “It is a game and you are under pressure. I repeat it is OK," he said.
"I don’t think Richy wanted to show disrespect to Nottingham Forest. “Nottingham Forest are a really good team with a great history in football and we have a great respect.
"Richy for sure thinks in the same way. Not disrespectful for anyone and I can tell you this.”
The victory for Tottenham preserved their unbeaten league record and kept them third in the table, two points behind league leaders Arsenal. Next up for Conte's side is a trip across London to face a West Ham United team who picked up their first goal and first points of the season with a win at Aston Villa on Sunday.
