Jamie Carragher says that the fact Arsenal do not rely on individual brilliance could see them pip both Manchester United and Tottenham to fourth place in the Premier League this season.
Carragher was speaking at The Overlap's latest live event and piled praise on Mikel Arteta for his brave decisions, including his transfers and the ousting of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, as a key reason behind the Gunners' resurgence. If they were to re-enter the Champions League, it would mark a significant rise from last season's performance.
With 10 matches left to play in the Premier League, Arsenal sit in that final coveted spot, three points ahead of Spurs and four points ahead of United with a game in hand on both. The exciting, young squad led by the likes of Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard have been key to their impressive form and Carragher heaped praise on Arteta for bringing them together and fulfilling his vision.

"Last season didn't go well," Carragher said on The Overlap. "But the thing I admire about Arteta, and any manager really, is seeing a manager be brave and seeing him be brave in his decisions. I think even last season when he left Aubameyang out before a North London Derby because he was late for the team meeting, that was a very brave move.
"I think the signings they made this season, how young they were, they were signings no other top club would have made, and I really like it. When I watch Arsenal, I feel like I can see Mikel Arteta's imprint on the team. When I watch Manchester United, I don't really think I'm watching a Rangnick team. I don't think right now you're seeing a Conte team [at Spurs].
"I think United and Spurs are probably still in the race for the top four because they have better individuals. I don't think Arsenal have got that superstar player. It's a real team."
