Jamie Carragher has once again expressed his 'love' for Liverpool forward Sadio Mane following his impressive display versus Manchester City in the semi-final of the FA Cup.
The Senegalese forward scored a brace as Jurgen Klopp's side booked their place in the final of the competition, with two equally impressive finishes. His first displayed his tenacity when on the pitch to chase lost causes, punishing a mistake from goalkeeper Zack Steffen, while his second strike was an unstoppable volley few shot-stoppers could have kept out.
Mane has now scored four times in his last four outings in all competitions, highlighting his undeniable value as he continues to deliver for the first-team in the final third of the pitch. One person who was left impressed by the 30-year-old during Sunday's win at Wembley was Carragher, who took to Twitter to praise the jet-heeled winger.
"I love Sadio Mane," tweeted the ex-Reds defender. After watching the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winner score his second, Carragher added: "What a player you’ve been & still are for Liverpool, Sadio."

This is not the first time Carragher has made clear his admiration for the former Southampton star, however, after previously declaring his love for Mane after the Reds' 5-3 home win over Chelsea during the 2019/20 season.
Liverpool lifted the Premier League trophy at the full-time whistle of this win over the Londoners at Anfield, leaving the Sky Sports pundit desperate to pay respect after the club's 30-year wait for the top-flight title was ended.
"Carragher told the prolific attacker: "You do know I love you, don't you?" Issuing his response to this statement, Mane said: "I know. I love you too."
