Micah Richards was left hiding his face behind a team sheet after Jamie Carragher unearthed footage of the former Manchester City star in action against Alessandro Del Piero.
The trio were all working as studio pundits for CBS Sports alongside Thierry Henry on Tuesday evening, as part of the network's coverage of Chelsea's Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
With Juventus legend Del Piero making a guest appearance former Liverpool defender Carragher took the opportunity to look back on the last time the Italian and Richards face each other in Europe, with Richards captaining City in Turin 13 years ago.

But the ex-Sky Blue defender's pride quickly changed to embarrassment as Carragher's true intentions became clear. After running a clip of his two studio colleagues shaking hands for the coin toss, it was quickly followed by another from the game where Del Piero turns Richards inside out, almost putting him on his backside, before crossing for a Juventus goal.
The historic Europa League footage was followed by shrieks of laughter in the CBS Studio, with Richards hiding his face behind the Real Madrid V Chelsea team sheet.
As the commotion died down Carragher said: "Hey, at least he won the toss. Is there any clip of any player who hasn't taken you to the cleaners?"
An embarrassed Richards responded: "No, there's not!"
Real Madrid went on to win their quarterfinal first-leg match against Chelsea 2-0, thanks to goals from Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio. Ben Chilwell was sent of for the capital club, with Los Blancos now looking odds-on to reach yet another Champions League semi-final.
