Roy Keane has named Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo among his top three players currently operating in the Premier League.
Ronaldo's only Premier League start came against Brentford this season and he's been given a reduced role by Erik ten Hag. Ronaldo has made more starts in the Europa League, but he had the opportunity to record 60 minutes against Everton on Sunday.
Anthony Martial was forced to be substituted in the first half after sustaining an injury and Ronaldo entered the pitch to make an immediate impact when lashing the ball beyond Jordan Pickford from the left side of the attack to make it 2-1.

Ronaldo's strike ensured the lead at half-time and it was also his 700th club career goal. Keane was on punditry duty on Monday night and he named Ronaldo among the top three players currently playing in the Premier League following that strike.
“Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo," Keane told Sky Sports when asked for his top three. “De Bruyne obviously plays in midfield and what he does week in, week out consistently is fantastic. You see what Haaland has done already.
"We know he’s new to the Premier League but it’s amazing what he can achieve over the next few years, particularly when you’re playing in a really good team like City and playing under Pep [Guardiola].
"Then you have to give Ronaldo credit after scoring against Everton to make it 700 goals in his career. Amazing.”
Jamie Carragher also named his current top three Premier League players but there was no room for Ronaldo.
“Kevin De Bruyne has been the best player in the league for four or five years," Carragher said. "You’ve also got to say Haaland now, he’s a global superstar. Despite his form this season, I’m still going to say Virgil van Dijk.
"I think he’s been absolutely amazing over the last four or five years and has absolutely transformed Liverpool from where they were when he came in to where they’ve been the last few years.”
