Jamie Carragher has tried to end his spat with Tottenham forward Richarlison. The pair have been involved in an ongoing back and forth over social media after the former Liverpool player took aim at Richarlison last season whilst he was at Everton.
Having been criticised for play acting and diving during his time at Goodison Park, Richarlison responded to the Sky pundit on Twitter last year, writing: "@Carra23 wash your mouth before you talk about me and Everton, and I don't respect you." That was in response to Carragher saying, "Honestly, get up. Get up, carry on."
Carragher tried to calm things down after that, adding, "I actually quite like this. If Twitter was about when I was a player, I'm sure I would've called pundits out quite a lot!!"

The ex-England defender was then back on the offensive though after Richarlison's transfer to London, giving his opinion on the £60million man's showboating against Nottingham Forest earlier in the season. "Woah! It does wind people up," Carragher said.
"You can't do that [the tackle]. But what is he doing? He just winds people up, that lad, Richarlison. He winds me up."
It was then the turn of Richarlison to fire back, posting an image of him on the end of a bad tackle, captioned, "silence is deafening" and tagging Carragher. This was after being selected for the World Cup and things had gone quiet since Qatar. The 25-year-old was injured before the tournament but was still included in the squad for Tite and he also suffered a knock over the winter too.
Now, with Richarlison back in action for his club, Richarlison and Carragher were face-to-face once more with the latter part of the punditry team for Tottenham's clash against Manchester City. Speaking pitchside during the warmup Carragher took some time out of the coverage to speak with the Brazil star.
He ran onto the field to pass the ball several times with the Spurs striker before shaking hands and making up in front of the cameras. When asked about their relationship, Carragher added: "We're mates. He apologised so I accepted it. I said 'are you going to be a good boy today? No fighting or whatever.' No, he's going to play football today."
Richarlison was involved in a coming together with Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale after the 2-0 loss on Sunday, pushing the Gunners' No.1 for celebrating in front of the home fans.
