Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has used Manchester City's emphatic 7-0 victory over RB Leipzig to fire a sly dig at Manchester United on social media.
Pep Guardiola's side head into tonight's Champions League Round of 16 second leg tie level at 1-1 with their Bundesliga opponents, but the Sky Blues were in devastating form and with striker Erling Haaland finding the net five times, City were able to complete a 7-0 rout that moved them into the quarterfinals.
But drawing a comparison with Manchester United's recent 7-0 hammering at the hands of Liverpool, the television pundit could not resist the opportunity to land a late dig on the Red Devils, who are still recovering their own dignity after the landslide result at Anfield on March 5.

Carragher Tweeted: "Losing 7-0 is a joke! #MCIRBL #LIVMUN," followed by a winking emoji face.
The retired Liverpool defender is known for poking fun at his punditry partner Gary Neville, who enjoyed a decorated career at Manchester United. Neville is yet to take the bait left by Carragher however.
