Jamie Carragher and Robbie Keane highlight the differences between Bielsa and Marsch’s Leeds United

Jamie Carragher and Robbie Keane believe that Leeds United are more organised under Jesse Marsch than their previous manager Marcelo Bielsa. Speaking on Sky Sports before Monday night's game against Crystal Palace, Carragher and Keane went into depth about how Marsch had tweaked Leeds' style of play since arriving at Elland Road.

Leeds' defence under Bielsa was a particular talking point for the Monday Night Football duo, with Keane stating that Leeds look "more organised and compact".

Carragher said: "It was a mess towards the end. We talk about Burnley making a brave decision, it’s the same with Leeds. It’s still mad and frantic but there has been some subtle changes. The wide players play narrow. The thing you associated with Leeds was the training and we all loved it.

"You look at it now, Leeds haven’t changed much, they’re actually running more. No opponent has out-run Jesse March’s team. That shows the players are really buying into it.

And former Leeds forward Keane added: "His [Marsch] teams before were very organised. They obviously did his homework on him. If I was a Leeds player, you don’t want to be pressing people high up and man-to-man marking. They looked more organised and compact. He has them more organised and the players are probably enjoying it a little more."
