Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville agree over what Mason Mount would add to the Liverpool squad if Jurgen Klopp gets his man when the transfer market reopens.
With the summer window looming, the Reds will prioritise midfield recruits and spread their budget around. And Mount, who has only 13 months left to run on his Chelsea contract, has been identified as a possible target.
Liverpool are not his only potential suitors, though, with Manchester United chasing the 24-year-old, who is enduring the most difficult of his career.

But, despite that, Carragher and Neville have both heaped praise on his ability as Chelsea brace themselves for approaches and a prospective bidding war.
Naturally, given their affiliation with Liverpool and United respectively, Carragher and Neville seldom agree - and TV exchanges between the duo on Sky Sports quite often make for box-office viewing.
But their script when it comes to Mount is almost identical as speculation over his future continues to spiral.
During an appearance on The Anfield Wrap, Carragher said: "Mason Mount is a funny one - in that people always seem a little bit down on him for whatever reason. I've never got it, I'm a huge fan.
"He's a Champions League winner. I really like him.
"He's got energy to press, he'd provide a greater goal threat from midfield than what we have in Jordan [Henderson] in that position right now. Every top manager who's been at Chelsea has picked him, he plays for England and I think the club have also got to be thinking about that homegrown situation."
Neville, while on Sky Sports duty, added: "Mason Mount is a coaches' player. I think that's the best way to describe him. There've been many I've seen in my life time in football where they probably get more respect by the coaching staff for what they do than they do maybe by the fans that are watching them.
"[Maybe that's] Because their output in goals, or assists, or tackles or other things that are really noticeable maybe aren't as much as people would like. But what they do do is glue teams together, they fill in gaps, they know when to trigger presses and win the ball back and counter attack.
"I'm not surprised that Mason Mount is a target for many managers."
A fee of £55m for Mount has been mooted per reports from The Independent and other national outlets. In the modern market, Liverpool could do far worse in the push for new signings, while Carragher and Neville have already given him their esteemed seal of approval.
