Geordie Shore's James Tindale speaks out on cast member cruelly 'cut out' of show after filming

James Tindale has spoken out about a 'secret' Geordie Shore cast member, who was axed from the show after filming in Magaluf.

As the long-running MTV show gets ready to air its highly anticipate d reunion series, a year after plans were shelved due to Covid, original star James has lifted the lid on a girl who was brought into the fold, months after Geordie Shore made its much talked about debut on screen in the spring of 2011.

The cast member in question was Marie from Scotland, but, unlike James and his co-stars like Vicky Pattison, Gaz Beadle and Charlotte Crosby, she didn't get to enjoy any instant TV fame, after she ended up on the cutting room floor.

Speaking to the Daily Star about what happened with Marie in Magaluf 10 years ago, James said: ""We all got there and there was a girl in there and she kind of like gave it the biggun and knew the chat to get on the show.

"But when she got on there and she actually has to show her personality, she fumbled and got lost between the bigger characters.

"She got totally cut out of the show - it was horrible. I don't even remember her name, I could even walk past her in the street and not recognise her, that's how interested I was."

James isn't the first Geordie Shore star to lift the lid on Marie's short time on Geordie Shore, which saw her make the briefest of appearances on scene during a scene from a night out in the Majorcan party hot spot.

Last year Holly Hagan was put on the spot about the rumours of a 'secret' Geordie Shore cast member, during a Q&A with fans on Instagram. And being up front with her response, Holly replied "Yes! Magaluf madness our summer special after series one there was a new girl from Scotland.

"I think they realised they wanted the show's cast to be kept to north east only and just completely cut her from the show."

Holly added: ""It was only a two ep special I believe so it wasn't that difficult to do but she's still randomly there in some scenes and no1 (sic) even questioned it when they watched the show at the time."
