Rangers captain James Tavernier still trusts his fellow teammates who are out of contract in the summer to be called upon for the rest of the season and win trophies before they potentially depart.
Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent are the two most high-profile stars who are, as things stand, set to leave the club in the summer months with contract talks for the duo still up in the air. Elsewhere, Ryan Jack, Allan McGregor, Steven Davis and Scott Arfield are all set to depart. Filip Helander, who is on the treatment table, is likely on his way out and loan stars Malik Tillman and James Sands will also return to their parent clubs.
That represents quite a lot of the squad that Tavernier has played with for much of his Scottish Premiership career at Rangers, meaning that widespread change could be afoot at Ibrox over the summer months in what will be a new rebuild under Michael Beale. But Tavernier is unfazed by the changes that may happen - insisting that they must want to win trophies if it is to be their swansong.

Tavernier said: “It’s a difficult one. As long as I know they are committed to the team then it’s something I always stand back from and let the player decide or the club decide.
"My concern is the well-being of the team and I know all of the players who are heading towards the end of their contracts and we all have to fully focus on the team and what’s at hand.
“That’s just football in general. Players come and go. There has been a large group that’s been here for a long time but it’s down to the club if they want to offer contracts or extend them.
“There have been disappointments on the journey for this group but we reached the Europa League Final and won the league and the Scottish Cup.
“We obviously want to win more and we are still in three competitions. When you hang up your boots you want to look back at the silverware you won and bring a smile to your face and show your kids and be really proud."
