Arsenal have been urged to consider Rangers skipper James Tavernier by a former Emirates Stadium youngster.
The right back has been terrific for the Light Blues this campaign with a number of standout performances domestically and in Europe.
He has netted an impressive 14 goals along with 14 assists in all competitions as the captain continues to impress at Rangers.
And now Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has been urged to take a look.
Former Arsenal youngster Sanchez Watt, who also enjoyed stints at Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday, took to social media claiming Tavernier would "suit Arsenal's style of play".
He Tweeted: "I've played with and against Tav #baller... he would suit Arsenal's style of play.
"Top professional on and off the pitch, never misses games.
"A captain who gets assists and can score goals. Set-piece specialist.
"Quick, gets up and down constantly... defends well. Why not?"
The Tweet ended up drawing a mixed reaction with one Gunners fan replying: "Valid point. Home grown. We need someone at RB too".
