James Tavernier has been praised for his classy moment with Clinton Nsiala after Rangers' 4-2 win against Kilmarnock last night.
The central defender was hooked after only 30 minutes into Barry Ferguson's first game in interim charge of the club.
The 21-year-old was culpable for both of Killie's early goals, which followed on just days after his two mistakes resulted in both of St Mirren's strikes at Ibrox.
Joe Wright brushed Nsisla off as though he wasn't there to gain an easy free header inside the six-yard box for 1-0. Robin Propper didn't cover himself in glory either, falling to the deck.

He was then left floundering by Brad Lyons who nicked in to win the ball, before skipping past the centre-back to send a stunning strike beyond Jack Butland for two inside the opening 15 minutes at Rugby Park.
Ferguson had saw enough, and opted to take Nsiala off and throw Ridvan Yilmaz on at right back, moving Tavernier inside one to right-centre-back.
The tactical change ultimately proved to be the turning point in the game, as Derek McInnes' team crumbled and Rangers capitalised with goals by Vaclav Cerny, Cyriel Dessers and Nedim Bajrami.
Rangers posted a full three-minute video of the full-time celebrations from the players and coaching staff with the travelling fans in Ayrshire.
And as the players began to make their way down the tunnel, the captain could be seen having a quiet word with Nsiala in a bid to pick him up after another disappointing display.

Fans spotted this in the footage and were keen to highlight Tavernier's gesture.
One wrote: "Tav talking to big Clinton is good leadership there fair play to him."
Another said: "He gets pelters for not being a captain, but this and other examples, like Hagi when he was out the picture, saying Tav helped him through it."
A third added: "Everyone see Tav taking to Nsiala? Man I hate myself sometimes!"
Another said: "Great to see Tav looking after Nsiala."
And a fifth commented: "Everyone who says Tav isn't captain material should maybe watch this video."
In his post-match interview with Sky Sports, standing alongside Dessers, Tavernier revealed what he said to the youngster.
"Clint's a young lad," said the Rangers skipper. "I was chatting to him just there.
"It's things you've just got to keep working on. He can't put his head down, these are things that come with football. We'll all get around him."
