The full ensemble for Wife And Dog has been revealed – with Norton joining previously announced cast members Sir Anthony Hopkins, Benedict Cumberbatch and Rosamund Pike.

The screenplay has been written by Ritchie, 56, who also produces alongside long-time producing partner, Ivan Atkinson and Black Bear’s John Friedberg.

The film sees Ritchie return to the colourful world of Britain’s high society, which was explored in his 2019 film and subsequent Netflix series The Gentlemen.

The TV programme, released in 2024, starred Skins actress Kaya Scodelario, Divergent’s Theo James and Ray Winstone.

Ritchie is best known for directing films including Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and Wrath Of Man.

Norton, 39, played murderer Tommy Lee Royce in BBC series Happy Valley and has starred in films including Little Women, Bob Marley: One Love, and Joy.
