Whites fighting off top-six transfer interest
Leeds United are facing increased transfer interest from both Manchester City and Liverpool for two key assets - but seem unwilling to budge on their valuation of around £60 million each.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are eyeing both Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips, with the former seen as a potential replacement for Sadio Mane. Klopp is understood to be happy to use ex-RB Salzburg forward Takumi Minamino as leverage in any deal.
Man City, meanwhile, have been looking at signing 26-year-old Phillips for some time as a successor to the departing Fernandinho. Pep Guardiola has long-enjoyed having a crop of English talent in his squad, and Phillips could join the likes of Jack Grealish, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling at the Etihad.

Milner tweeted: “Couldn’t be happier to extend my stay with this incredible club for another year. Playing football is a privilege and even more so here. Thanks for the support, will do my best to repay it”
Milner will remain at Liverpool until at least the summer of 2023.
