James Milner has returned to Liverpool training after missing the wins at Arsenal and Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup quarter-final.
Trent Alexander-Arnold shared on social media that he had taken a trip to Dubai's NAS Sports Complex in his bid to return from a hamstring injury he sustained in the win over Arsenal last week. The right-back is hoping to make his return in the titanic clash against Manchester City on Sunday, April 10.
Milner, who retired from England duty back in 2016, opted for a more low-key international break by staying put on Merseyside and working his way back up to full fitness at Liverpool's state-of-the-art training complex .

In a post on his Instagram account, the 36-year-old posted pictures of himself in the gym at the AXA Training Centre, with the hashtags #fullbodyday and #readyfortherunin. With Alexander-Arnold struggling with an injury, it is expected Milner will fill in at right-back.
“If you look in the past when Milly had to step in he did incredibly well. Incredibly well,” Jurgen Klopp said of the FA Cup quarter-final against Nottingham Forest. “He just has to be available and then that is fine.”
