Liverpool veteran James Milner has heaped praise on Ben Doak as he labelled his Anfield debut moment as 'unbelievable'.
It's been a stunning rise for the former Celtic kid, who has been nothing short of sensational for the Reds' youth set-up. He's been in stunning form during their UEFA Youth League campaign - netting against Rangers - and now he's been rewarded by Jurgen Klopp with his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup shootout win over Derby County.
He was also named on the bench for the English Premier League win over Southampton at the weekend, but wasn't called upon as the home side ran out 3-1 winners on the day. It was a special day for Milner as he landed his landmark 600th appearance in the EPL and he hopes the ex-Hoops kid can follow a similar route in his career after his maiden appearance.

When asked about his big landmark, the 36-year-old said: "It's a big number isn't it?
"It's unbelievable. It's been a very long time. You see someone like Ben Doak come on the other night at a similar age and do well.
"Hopefully they can have a long career as I have. For our young guys it's an unbelievable place to be.
"You can learn so much. You won't go too far wrong watching these guys here and learning off them."
Speaking after Doak's debut last week, Klopp said: "That's Ben. His instructions were easy: do what you do all the time. He is really a lively boy, a smart player, good dribbler, fast, can use both legs.
"He's good. It was nice to watch, really nice to watch - him coming in and immediately a lot of things are obviously natural to him, which is really helpful. I am pretty sure his family was here tonight.
"I can remember when I saw the family at the AXA [training centre] when we signed the boy, how excited everybody was. Now having this night, it's the next step, it's cool. He showed up, obviously."
