James McClean shares details of Kieran Tierney's classy gesture after Scotland v Ireland

James McClean has revealed that Kieran Tierney gave him his jersey after Ireland's 2-1 loss to Scotland last weekend.

The Derry native shared a snap of his son wearing the Arsenal star's shirt on Instagram days after the Hampden Park clash.

The kit is sure to be hugely popular in the McClean household, with the Wigan winger and his family all Celtic fans.

Tierney came through the Parkhead club's youth academy before going to to star in the first team under Ronny Deila initially and then Brendan Rodgers before moving to Arsenal in 2019.

McClean previously admitted it was his dream to play for Celtic one day, telling Celtic TV: "That's always been the dream.

"Unfortunately that's not up to me. If it was up to me it would have happened a long time ago.

"Who knows? Fingers crossed. Maybe one day."
