James Martin wiped away tears during a very special episode of ITV 's Saturday Morning today.
The beloved 49-year-old chef was marking a TV milestone as his show returned to the channel this morning.
He became emotional when he announced that he was celebrating his 200th episode for ITV, and celebrated in style by driving a vintage car into the studio.
James had hosted BBC 's Saturday Kitchen from 2006 for 10 years on BBC One before making his shock move to ITV in 2016, gaining his own show a year later on the channel.
Driving through the studio, James revealed that he was in legendary British cook and restauranteur Keith Floyd's car and seemed incredibly excited about celebrating the milestone.
He was left speechless, however, when he was surprised by an assortment of sweet messages from fellow chefs and colleagues.
Reading off his autocue, he appeared bewildered as he admitted that he "didn't know what was coming" as he said: "Apparently we've got a video of Brian from Yorkshire, who says he's been watching this show since it first started and fancies himself as a bit of a chef. I dread to think that... here we go."
'Brian' turned out to be famous British chef Brian Turner CBE, who said: "200 shows and still going strong! Who would have thought it? Nevertheless , it took a Yorkshireman like you and a great chef. Son, we're very proud of you! Keep it going!"
"Hey Yorkshire, it's Cornish," chef Paul Ainsworth quipped. "Happy 200th show! Congratulations, that's absolutely amazing! It's an honour to be a small part of that show from time to time. Love you to bits, congratulations."
Restauranteur Atul Kochhar also appeared to congratulate him, saying: "Kudos to you mate, only you could do this. Well done!"
Chefs Jose Pizzaro, Lisa Goodwin-Allen, Francesco Mazzei, Stephen Terry and Dipna Anand also made appearances, leading James to become emotional as he wiped away a few tears.
Fans also took to Twitter to congratulate him, with one writing: "Congratulations on 200 shows. Thank you all for the excellent advice, laughter and memories. Here’s to another 200. Thank you sir."
