Liverpool have reportedly registered their interest in signing Leicester City midfielder James Maddison ahead of the summer.
That is according to 90min.com, who claim both the Reds and Tottenham Hotspur have informed Maddison's representatives they are keen on acquiring his signature when the window opens at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old is the latest of a long line of England internationals Liverpool are thought to be keeping tabs on ahead of a major midfield revamp in the summer, with Chelsea duo Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher, as well as Borussia Dortmund starlet Jude Bellingham also having been linked.

Maddison, who was handed his second England cap in a 2-0 win over Ukraine at Wembley last month, is out of contract with the Foxes in 2024.
With that in mind, Leicester are reportedly set to demand a fee of around £50 million for their prized asset this summer, a similar figure to that of what they rejected from Newcastle United almost 12 months ago.
With the Magpies third in the table, they could also reignite their interest in Maddison, while Manchester City has also been touted as a potential destination.
Whether Leicester can demand the aforementioned £50 million fee could depend on what division they are playing in next season, with the Foxes surprisingly at serious risk of being relegated.
Despite another impressive personal campaign of nine goals and six assists for Maddison, Leicester currently sit 19th in the table on 25 points with just nine matches remaining.
He would add some much needed creativity and attacking numbers to a Liverpool midfield which has struggled to hit the same heights of previous years this season.
