James Jeggo insists Hibs can’t allow a nightmare day at the office to scupper their European dream.

Johnson’s side head to bottom side Dundee United next Sunday before hosting Hearts in a massive capital derby and completing the pre-split schedule away to St Johnstone. “We know that we’re good enough to make sure we’re in that top six and if we get there we can be challenging for Europe. That doesn’t change on the back of today. But that performance can’t happen again if we want to achieve what we want to.”
Skipper David Marshall had an afternoon to forget between the sticks as he conceded a disastrous penalty and was beaten by two free-kicks. But Jeggo said: “One thing we have here is a really honest group. Players know when they haven’t played well. There are always discussions”
