Hearts are reportedly closing in on a deal for Bournemouth defender James Hill.
Robbie Neilson's men are said to be in 'advanced talks' with the 20-year-old prospect after the Gorgie lost defender Craig Halkett for the remainder of the season prior to the Edinburgh derby triumph over Hibs. According to the Edinburgh Evening News, the youngster could travel to the capital to complete terms as early as this week.
The England under-21 star was valued at £1m when he completed the switch to the Cherries from Fleetwood Town in League One but has struggled for consistent game time on the South Coast and looks set to go out on loan with Hearts closing in.

Hill is described as aggressive central defender who can play easily out from the back and seems to fit the profile of what Neilson is looking to bolster.
