James Harden is once again capturing the attention of fans and broadcasters alike early on this NBA season.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski skipped a flight so he could break the trade of Harden going from the Philadelphia 76ers to the Los Angeles Clippers. Fans took notice when Joel Embiid’s MVP odds improved after Harden left town, and then Nets fans trolled Harden with chants of Daryl Morey.
On Friday night, a broadcaster decided to take aim at Harden in an incredible monologue.
Brian Demeris, who formerly worked in the Dallas Mavericks’ front office before becoming a broadcaster for Bally Sports Southwest, had a simple message for Harden: “You’re the problem.”
Harden has been on four different teams since the 2020-21 season and has seemed to burn bridges everywhere he’s gone. Twice, he was brought to those teams by Morey.
Demeris begins:
“I get on my knees every night and pray for someone to believe in me like Daryl Morey believed in you.”
Here’s Demeris’ incredible rant, in full:
Tell us how you really feel, @bdameris.
