James Forrest says Aiden McGeady is the man to watch for Celtic when they take on Hibs this Wednesday.
It'll be the winger's first match this season against the club he started his career at if selected by manager Lee Johnson after injury stopped him from playing at Parkhead in October. He'll be hoping for much better than the 6-1 thrashing Hibs received from Ange Postecoglou's side then and former teammate Forrest knows he'll be a tricky customer.
The 31-year-old idolised McGeady's tricks and flicks while making his own way from academy starlet to Celtic hero, and insists his teammates will need to be on their guard. He told Celtic TV: "When I was a young boy coming through here, I always looked up to Aiden. I think he’s 36 now but I saw him playing last year at Sunderland and he was still looking sharp, so he’ll definitely be a threat when we play them.
“All the young boys coming through, you always looked to players in your position and I watched him so many times over the years, so it’ll be good to play against him. Easter Road’s a good place to play and Hibs is always a difficult game there, so we’ll be looking forward to that when it comes around on Wednesday."
