James Corden slammed by restaurant boss for second time after claiming he 'did nothing wrong'

The James Corden drama seems to be continuing on, as rest restauranteur Keith McNally has taken aim at the Late Late Show host once again.

The 44-year-old was widely criticised after he was banned from New York eatery Balthazar amid claims he had been "nasty" to waiting staff.

The Gavin and Stacey writer was called a "gifted comedian" but a "cretin of a man" in a furious Instagram post shared by food mogul Keith.

James has since apologised for the matter, and his ban was lifted.

The TV personality then further said he had done "nothing wrong", sparking another outburst from Keith on social media.

Sharing a picture of James, Keith wrote: "STORM IN A RESTAURANT TEACUP.

"I've no wish to kick a man when he's down. Especially one who's worth $100 Million, but when James Corden said in yesterday's NY Times that he hadn't done "anything wrong, on any level," was he joking? Or was he denying being abusive to my servers?

"Whatever Corden meant, his implication was clear: he didn't do it.

"Although I didn't witness the incident, lots of my restaurant's floor staff did. They had nothing to gain by lying. Corden did."

Keith added: "I wish James Corden would live up to his Almighty initials and come clean.

"If the supremely talented actor wants to retrieve the respect he had from all his fans (all 4 of them) before this incident, then he should at least admit he did wrong.

"If he goes one step further and apologizes to the 2 servers he insulted, I'll let him eat for free at Balthazar for the next 10 years."

James has called the fallout following his behaviour "so silly" as he broke his silence after being accused of "yelling like crazy" at staff.

He was asked in an interview if he was "all right" following the backlash. The actor questioned the reporter for the New York Times, asking what he meant.

When the question was confirmed, and he was asked further about being glad not to have to cancel his current engagements, James' tone is said to have changed.

He defensively snapped: "I haven't done anything wrong on any level. So why would I ever cancel this [the interview]? I was there. I get it. I feel so Zen about the whole thing. Because I think it's so silly."
