James Corden will be leaving the Late Late Show in 2023, after hosting the late-night chat show since 2015.

The Gavin and Stacey star has been living and working in LA for seven years, in a move that has seen his personal fortune soar.

But what is James Corden’s net worth?

Why is James Corden leaving the Late Late Show?

On the show recently, Corden said leaving the Late Late Show was “the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make.

"I never saw [the show] as my final destination and I never want this show to overstay its welcome in any way, I always want to love making it and I really think in a year from now that will be a good time to move on and see what else might be out there.”

The English actor mentioned feeling homesick for the UK in late 2020. At the time, he told The Sun: “I have a couple of years to go on this contract. Ending the show will always be a bigger family decision than a professional one.

“It will be about people at home who we miss very, very much, who we are homesick for. I also feel like my wife and I have three young children, and they are three young grandchildren that we’ve taken away from people.”

What is James Corden’s net worth?

James Corden’s net worth is an estimated £50 million, thanks to his talk show host salary and production company.

In January, it was reported that production company Fulwell 73 (which produces the Late Late Show) had a turnover of £32.4 million.

The Sun reported that the company has assets of £140 million and that Corden’s share would be worth around £28 million, as he is one of five partners.

It has been reported that Corden’s salary for the Late Late Show is between £4 million-£7 million – with bosses reportedly considering doubling the salary in an effort to get the host to stay.

His LA home is said to be worth between £7.5 million and £10 million, and last year, he reportedly sold his London house for around £6 million.
