James Blunt hilariously teased two Irish fans who attended his concert in Dublin last night by telling them to get off their phones.
The singer-songwriter, 48, played the Iveagh Gardens on Clonmel Street on Sunday, July 10, after the gig was rescheduled from 2020 due to Covid restrictions.
But one Irish couple tweeted to say they were “bored” as they waited for the musician to come out on stage.
One man wrote: “Lot of bored people at the Iveagh Gardens waiting for @JamesBlunt.”
His wife agreed, also tweeting: “@JamesBlunt where are you? Falling asleep here.”
However, James, who is known for his hilarious Twitter comebacks, was quick off the mark with a witty response.

The ‘You're Beautiful’ singer hit back at the couple, writing: “Get off your phones and talk to each other. You’re supposed to be on date night.”
Luckily the couple saw the funny side and responded with a smiling selfie, writing: “We are!!!”
The chart topping star has released a series of hit songs over the years, but his 2005 single, 'You're Beautiful', still remains his best-known tune.
He once confessed that the romantic favourite 'You're Beautiful' actually has a quite creepy origin story.
Speaking on The John Bishop Show earlier this year, James said: "It's about me stalking somebody else's girlfriend on the underground while I'm high.
"But people play it at their weddings, which is nice."
James first spoke about the meaning behind the lyrics on The Oprah Winfrey Show in March 2006, a year after his song topped the charts.
"It's kind of miserable. It was about seeing my ex-girlfriend on the Underground in London with her new man, who I didn't know existed,” he said.
"She and I caught eyes and lived a lifetime in that moment, but didn't do anything about it and haven't seen each other since."
