James Arthur looks unrecognisable in ITV Lorraine appearance

Former X Factor winner James Arthur shocked fans when he appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Monday showcasing a dramatically new look. The completion winner looked dramatically different from when he first graced out TV screens in 2012, and has now left viewers floored.

The now internationally famous singer was sporting a completely different look in the ITV studio on Monday May 29, reports Birmingham Live. The star is also set to perform on Birtain's Got Talent at 8pm tonight.

Fans rushed to social media to share their thoughts on his new look. "Good to see you on my TV ⁦@JamesArthur23 - looking very smart!" one fan wrote.

Others added: "James Arthur looks like a Game of Thrones character." Another shared: "Nice haircut!"

One wrote: "Lovely to see the incredible James Arthur what a lovely interview with ranvir" James' latest string of appearances on ITV come after fans were convinced he was performing as Rhino on the latest series of The Masked Singer UK.

Viewers were certain it was the X Factor winner behind the costume, but throughout the series James shot down the rumours on social media. Weighing in on the debate, he wrote on Twitter: "For all those theorising, I am not the Rhino on #MaskedSingerUK it’s probably Lewis Capaldi."

James continued to fuel speculation each week online, replying to fans' tweets and denying it was him on behind the mask. Rhino went on to win the ITV show, and it was revealed to be Busted frontman Charlie Simpson behind the mask during the grand final on 19 February. Reacting to Charlie's unmasking, James jokingly tweeted: "Charlie Simpson, I'd know that voice anywhere. One of the best out there… now everyone p**s off and leave me alone."
