James Argent's worried pals call paramedics to his home

James Argent is reported to have received a visit from paramedics this week after worried friends raised the alarm.

The ex Towie star wasn't answering his phone after suffering a "blip in his recovery".

Arg has been honest about his struggles with mental health in the past.

The 34-year-old sparked concern but is said to be "doing fine despite the scare" reports the Mirror.

He did not require hospital treatment but a source has admitted the "drastic changes to his lifestyle" have added pressures for him.

Arg has lost an impressive 13 stone after having gastric surgery.

He has been hospitalised twice over drug overdoses in the past.

"James has been doing so well, but the drastic change to his lifestyle has had pressures of its own and can be tough. Unfortunately it happened on a day when he was feeling low and an ambulance had to be called," an insider told The Sun.

"He is changing his number again and is now focusing on surrounding himself with the right people who support him in his new healthy lifestyle."

The Mirror has contacted a representative for Arg for comment.

Arg has impressed his friends and family with his incredible weight loss so far, and as he continues on his journey, he is now looking at bulking up and improving his muscles after his huge weight loss.

He recently admitted to the Mirror he is hoping to put on half a stone after his incredible weight loss, adding: "But the doctors are pleased for me and are in regular contact, taking blood tests to make sure I’m getting enough nutrients. I’ve lost a little bit more than what I wanted to, so I want to get more toned, bulk up a little bit and maybe even put on half a stone."

He has confessed that it did take some time for him to adjust to his new normal.

"Sometimes I’d get as hungry as I did before," he said, "When that happens you eat too quickly. It makes you feel rough and be sick and it’s extremely uncomfortable. I’ve learned the hard way. There’s been moments where I’ve f***ed up but now I’m used to it."

He admitted he still struggles with body confidence despite his weight loss, adding: "I’ve lost all this weight and I still wonder if people can see my tummy or if what I’m wearing is a bit too tight."
