Jalen Hurts reflects on wild card loss, late season collapse, and Nick Sirianni’s job status

Jalen Hurts is the face of the Eagles franchise, which meant he was last to face the media during Wednesday’s locker room cleanout at the NovaCare Complex.

Most of the day was spent discussing Philadelphia’s late-season collapse and the potential firing of head coach Nick Sirianni and his coordinators, Brian Johnson and Sean Desai.

With all eyes on the offseason and new league year, here are takeaways from Hurts’ media session.

It sounds like Hurts didn’t give Sirianni an initial vote of confidence because he didn’t think his head coach was in danger.

It’s looking like Sean Desai and Brian Johnson won’t be retained, and Hurts was asked about having any potential input in the new hires.

If Brian Johnson is set to be replaced, Hurts doesn’t know, and mentioned his current offensive coordinator by name.
