Jalen Hurts appeared to injure his knee during the Philadelphia Eagles’ win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday after taking a sack in the third quarter. He wore a brace on that knee the rest of the game, and simply said “I finished the game” when asked by Melissa Stark if he was OK.
So: is this an injury to be worried about as the countdown to Sunday’s NFC title game matchup against the Washington Commanders begins?
Here’s what we know as of Monday morning: per Ian Rapoport, it doesn’t appear to be a “major” injury. He may be limited in practice this week and he said it could be an “awkward, tense” week but he expected Hurts to play.
From @GMFB: The #Eagles had a couple key players banged up, but it appears Jalen Hurts and Quinyon Mitchell did not suffer major injuries. pic.twitter.com/uC2JcEqjTb
