Jalen Hurts certainly tried singing the Eagles’ fight song and NFL fans had notes

It’s a good thing Jalen Hurts’ day job is pretty secure with the Philadelphia Eagles headed to the Super Bowl.

On Sunday, the Eagles bested the San Francisco 49ers 31-7 in the NFC Championship Game to book their ticket to Arizona. It wasn’t a pretty game by any means, but Hurts and the Eagles were able to carve up the usually stout 49ers defense for 269 yards by game’s end for the victory.

After the game, despite Terry Bradshaw nearly ruining the moment, Hurts took the opportunity to sing the Eagles fight song — “Fly, Eagles Fly” — with fans and, well, I’ll let you hear how it went.

Look, no hate at all to Hurts. If given the microphone I’d do a terrible job singing the Eagles fight song, as I’m a real bad singer. Hurts’ talents definitely lie elsewhere, as showed by his towering NFL MVP odds, but there’s no denying his passion for the city of Philadelphia and for his teammates.

NFL fans, on the other hand, had notes after Hurts’ valiant performance.
