Jalen Hurts scored a pair of touchdowns in the first half of Super Bowl 57 on Sunday as the Philadelphia Eagles built a 24-14 lead over the Kansas City Chiefs at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
He could be on his way to joining Crimson Tide stars like Bart Starr and Joe Namath as Super Bowl MVP if the second half continues in the Birds’ direction.
What is stunning is this: Hurts became the first Alabama player to score a touchdown in a Super Bowl.
Jalen Hurts becomes the first former player from Alabama to ever score a TD in the Super Bowl.
Hard to believe.
