Jalen Carter explained that he got the idea to overdramatically flop from LeBron James

If you’re going to flop in a professional sports game, one of the best people to channel is undoubtedly LeBron James. While the Los Angeles Lakers star is an all-time great, he’s also got a notorious reputation for the overdramatic on the court.

So, that’s exactly what Philadelphia Eagles rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter did on Sunday night. Following an after-whistle scuffle with Dolphins offensive tackle Austin Jackson, Carter exaggerated the effect of a Jackson hit across his neck. He took the shot and flailed his arms in the most overdramatic fashion while falling to the ground.

When he was asked to clarify the sequence, Carter simply said he thought, “WWLD” — or “What would LeBron (James) do?”

Oh, that’s absolute gold. Once again, if you’re going to flop, make sure it’s in the style of one of the best basketball players in history.
