Bellator boss Scott Coker believes that MMA fans will have to wait for another five Jake Paul boxing matches before he switches to the cage.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul has amassed an unblemished 5-0 record since turning professional at the start of 2020, and has stopped all four of his opponents including former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.
But amid his feud with UFC president Dana White, Paul has teased a move to the cage, with PFL and Bellator both potential suitors for the Ohio native's signature.
And while Coker says there has been dialogue between the two sides over a possible crossover fight, he believes that Jake is keen to get to ten boxing matches before seriously considering a move to the cage.
"Listen, if Jake Paul is serious about doing it, we're here," Coker told Mirror Fighting after Friday night's Bellator 275 event at Dublin's 3Arena.
"We're already talking - when I say talking he was with Showtime Boxing [the broadcaster that also airs Bellator in the United States] when he did the fight with Tyron Woodley.
"There is dialogue - but I think that he wants to do his ten boxing fights and then come over to MMA."
Paul infamously shared a video last month showing that he had begun training kicks, where he tagged Bellator and PFL as he teased a move to the cage.
He has said that he would ideally train at the American Kickboxing Academy with Khabib Nurmagomedov and head coach Javier Mendez, but the renowned trainer has poured cold water on the idea.
Former two-weight world champion Daniel Cormier doesn't get on with Paul, and isn't keen on the social media star training at his home base.
And Mendez insists that everyone in the gym must agree to allow a divisive character like Paul to come and train on the team.

"It could happen but like anybody you know we have to go through all the coaches and all the fighters that are here and anybody that's a famous athlete like him," he told The Schmo.
"They will go through the routine that everybody does so he would have to get voted by everybody. First of all, he's never asked. What he's done is he's marketed himself beautifully.
"I loved the plug he gave us, I think it was a fantastic plug and I think he's a fantastic person. He in turn gave me a great return favour by talking about training with us.
"But the reality is no matter who you are, you have to go through the team to get consent to train with us. He hasn't been given consent because he hasn't asked, it's not that he won't I just know he hasn't asked.
"If he does get denied, he won't know who denied him cause we don't say that."
