Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva date, UK time, TV channel and stream

YouTube star Jake Paul faces the toughest challenge of his boxing career on Saturday when he faces 47-year-old UFC legend Anderson Silva.

Paul, 25, looks for his sixth professional boxing win when he challenges Silva over eight three-minute rounds at the Desert Diamond Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Silva is undoubtedly Paul's toughest opponent to date, with 'The Problem Child' previously knocking out retired MMA champions Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, NBA star Nate Robinson and fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib.

Silva held the UFC middleweight title for over five years and is considered by many fans to be the greatest MMA fighter of all time. Since partying ways with the UFC two years ago, 'The Spider' has exceeded expectations in the ring by outpointing former middleweight world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and also knocking out fellow UFC legend Tito Ortiz.

So here's all you need to know ahead of Saturday's big fight...

What time are the fights on?

UK fans will have to set their alarms for the early hours of Sunday morning as the fight card is set to get underway at 1am UK time. Ringwalks for the main event between Paul and Silva will likely to take place around 4am, with the opening bell getting underway around 4:15am. These fight times are an estimate however and could change depending to the length of the undercard fights that take place before the main event.

How to watch via TV and live stream

The pay-per-view card will be exclusively broadcast on FITE TV for UK fans, costing $19.00 (around £17.80) whilst US viewers will have to fork out $59.99 to watch the fight on Showtime. You can live stream the fight card on the FITE TV app, which is available for download onto your mobile, tablet and smart TV devices. Showtime is also available to stream on a number of devices and US fans can purchase the pay-per-view by clicking here.

Paul : "Anderson Silva is the nicest guy in the world and we love him. If my opponent is a d***head, I'm gonna treat him like a d***head and beat his f****ng a**. I think people have seen that side of me, but I respect this man. I'm still going to knock him out, but respectfully knock him out."

Silva : "The energy involved in this fight is so amazing. A lot of people say 'Anderson, you're crazy why are you doing this' but I think this is a good challenge for me. My sons Gabriel, Eliezer and Kalil beat me up every day I'm training, but I say 'I think I can do that'. Everybody needs to watch this fight because people will see a different Anderson Silva and Jake Paul, for sure."
